Mr Obama political economy comes home.
Since August of this year, the dollar has lost
6% of value against the euro.
9% against the Japanese yen.
10% against the Aussie dollar.
11% against the Norwegian kroner.
23% against gold.
29% against silver.
The drop against gold and silver are partially explainable as seasonal. But if you've been putting off that new dental crown, you will have to save a little longer. The dollar will not recover for years.
Lucky us.
