Freedom and Liberty
Monday is Memorial Day.
Remember those who fought in war. Remember those whose blood flowed from their bodies until life's breath could no longer swell their chest.
Remember Tarawa, Guadalcanal, Normandy, Belleau Wood, Chosin Reservoir, Valley Forge, Da Nang, Fallujah, and Kandahar. Remember so those whose souls are heaven bound can at least have the gratitude we feel for them and for our freedom on this day of remembrance.
They are the dead. Remembering them is the least we can do.
