The mainstream press' sponsored polls show Romney gaining ground or as much as 5 points ahead in the battleground states.
There are two possible reasons. The least likely reason is the Democratic Party controlled press has tired of Obama.
The more likely reason is they Democratic Party controlled press wants to portray Obama as the comeback kid when he fails miserably in the tonight's debate.
Since a gain of 2 or 3 points in well within the margin of error of most polls, that will form the basis of the press "reporting" that Obama regained ground from tonight's debate.
I'm very cynical about the mainstream press. They serve their political dancing masters, not the American people.
