Unemployment drops - the cheerful lie.

The administration released the cheerful news that payroll employment increased by 248,000 in September and the unemployment rate declined to 5.9%.  This is the lowest rate since 2008.  Put a happy face on that.  The "unemployment rate" is a politically concocted number

The more revealing labor participation rate is the lowest in 10 years at 62.7%  Normally, you would expect that if the unemployment rate is dropping, the labor force participation rate should be rising.  That little down tick at the right end of the graph means that more adult Americans aren't working.

Life is rough in Obamaland - "compassionate government" is not realistic.  Until we get rid of Obama and his big government buddies, America will get poorer.
