Duck Dynasty, the A&E television show about a politically conservative family that makes hunting calls, may move to another network next season. Phil Robertson, the old guy on the show, made some remarks the fascist-media controllers do not like. So the FMCs trotted out the usual insults about the remarks being insensitive, hateful, and so forth.
The whole Duck Dynasty thing started with Robertson trying to quote the Bible: "Don't be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers – they won't inherit the kingdom of God … Don't deceive yourself. It's not right (sort of based on 1st Corinthians 6:9)"
"We never, ever judge someone on who's going to heaven, hell. That's the Almighty's job," he added. "We just love 'em, give 'em the good news about Jesus – whether they're homosexuals, drunks, terrorists. We let God sort 'em out later, you see what I'm saying?"
Homosexual GLAAD spokesman Wilson Cruz said, "...such hateful anti-gay comments are unacceptable to fans, viewers, and networks alike."
Hateful?
Whether you read it or not, the Bible is foundational to Western democratic society. Mr Robertson did not precisely quote the Bible's Corinthians passage, but the hate and vitriol directed against Robertson shows that the purpose of the haters is to remove the Bible from society.
