Overdose death count exceed COVID epidemic death

The Centers for Disease Control Director Robert Redfield said “We’re seeing, sadly, far greater suicides now than we are deaths from COVID. There are more than 750 varieties of corona virus with charming names like 229E (alpha coronavirus), NL63 (alpha coronavirus), and killers like ERS-CoV (the beta coronavirus that causes Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, or MERS), SARS-CoV (the beta coronavirus that causes severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS), SARS-CoV-2 (the novel coronavirus that causes coronavirus disease 2019, or COVID-19) -- COVID19 is only the latest of a long line (CDC).

COVID 19 kills, but not always.  As of July 29, 2020, there were almost 16.9 million cases of COVID-19 worldwide!  Over 10.4 million people had recovered from the disease, while there had been around 663,500 deaths.

The United States, Brazil, and the United Kingdom have been among the countries hardest hit by the pandemic (Statista).  The current death rate is slightly under 4%.

The present complete recovery count is just short of 62%.  About 34% are pending outcome.  Pray for them.


The lying leftist media is humping fear and exaggerating the killing power of corona virus.  Despair leads to death.  Drugs are only a vehicle of bringing death.
