I got the COVID inoculation. I guess I am pretty safe. For now.
But the COVID inoculation is not a vaccine, not the usual sense. Normal vaccines are a killed form of the virus they prevent. That is, the virus-based vaccine cannot cause itself to be reproduced.
In a normal infection, a virus will hijack a cell's "machinery" and make copies of itself. Eventually the body's immune system will figure out that this is happening and put a stop to it by producing antibodies to the virus.
The COVID inoculation skips over the learning part of the body's immune response and goes straight to compelling production of the antibodies. Thus your body acquires a robust immunity to COVID.
But the immunity may be short term. Israel was an early international leader in vaccinations. Subsequently, Israel have found a need for booster vaccination.
Also, since the COVID inoculation skips the immune system's learning phase may mean the immune system will not recognize the COVID virus later. Thus the body will not know how to respond to a later infection. It's sort of like cheating on a test; the cheater does not learn the material and will not be able to draw on memory of it later.
It seems we need to have Operation Warp Speed - part 2, where we develop a killed virus form of the inoculation for more permanent protection. Why isn't the Biden administration addressing this? Why aren't the Democrats doing anything now?

COVID sems to be mild for most children. Most children will develop lifetime immunity if we let them just get sick and go over it. Any adults in the kids lives would be wise to be inoculated, unless they already have immunity from getting sick with COVID and getting over it.
Children are not particularly affected by the virus; apparently their immune systems are faster to recognize invasions and deal with them. That plus the fact that children are just more able to heal up.
If children are at very little risk from COVID. So why all the fuss about masking kids and making them experience dehumanization?
