The bill is aimed at nullifying the balloting integrity measures put into place in states like Arizona, Florida, Georgia and Texas. Schumer tweeted on Thursday: I’m announcing that the Senate will vote on moving forward on the Freedom to Vote Act on Wednesday (Sen. Chuck Schumer - Twitter).
The Center for American Progress boasts that the Act would counteract anti-democratic election integrity laws passed by legislatures in at least 17 states, claiming that they are designed to suppress voters of color, voters with disabilities, young people, and members of other historically underrepresented groups (American Progress).
The bill has been modified, but Minority Leader McConnell clarifies: “It still makes Washington bureaucrats the de facto board of elections for all 50 states,” he said (WSJ).
In the socialist drift toward the totalitarian state, the unthinkable becomes the inevitable,
then it becomes the unquestionable.
Socialism = Totalitarianism. Individuals don't matter in the socialist state.
