The Dreariness of Pointless Change

I wish I had a bone of hope to gnaw on….

What’s wrong with modern American liberalism and the “Democratic” Party.

A lot of people out there still think the purpose of government is to restrict/control people. Instead of a land filled with the possibilities of human life, America has become a land of "No, you can't."

The "can’t-ers" short circuit all the great prospects of life. Instead of affirming the people who soar high and open up the vista of life, they seek to cage life in little, safe packages. Mediocrity is enforced. Plainness is required.

Weirdly, this impulse to stifle is growing in intensity. Soon, all of life in the land of the formerly free will be dirty rat gray. No one will be allowed to excel, no one will be allowed to stand out.

An interesting historical footnote is that? Mr Ted Kennedy drafted much of the content of the Bush educational act popularly called "No child left behind." Teachers widely vilified the act as "No child gets ahead."

Compared to any of his brothers, the late Ted Kennedy was drab personality. Ever since his date with his secretary, and her consequent drowning at Chappaquiddick, Teddy used all of us who are still breathing. He orchestrated her death after he used her. He orchestrated the death of the vibrant American in the same spiteful sport.

It figures the alcoholic rat-gray Teddy Kennedy, running from his conscience, would draft the act which would suck the life out of American youth.

The paragon and hero of the "Democratic" Party sought this result to assure an enhancement of their power base among the helpless and plain. Its paying off very well for them.

~~~~~~~~
Under democracy, whatever the majority decides is law. The majority can change at any moment and the law changes in an instant. There is no stability, no security, no safety.
In a republic, basic rights are secured for everyone. The human rights part of law does not change and society grows on a firm foundation. In a republic, the strong are just, the weak secure and the peace preserved.
The best system would combine the strength of democracy and republic. The security of a republic, with the stability of protecting the rights of the minority, would be reinforced by the use of democracy to check the aggressions of an ambitious politician.
Yet, here in Bizarro world, the worst tyrannies call themselves "democratic republics."
The American system is failing because the People have been taught the democratic political system is all that matters. The republican ideal of equal right before the law is something to be taken away from people. They no longer care nor understand that the instability in a pure democracy will collapse the political system, destroy their wealth and make them miserable. Inevitably, the nation is headed into poverty, dictatorship and civil war.
Democide.
Lethal Health Care Far From Dead Issue
Mr Obama's Lethal Health Care Plan applies limits on care for elderly and unborn.
Then I remembered the US is a signatory to the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights.
Article 3 states "Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person."
and
Article 21, section 2 states, "Everyone has the right of equal access to public service in his country."
If the US government sponsors health care, according to this treaty, the government may make no such distinction, because everyone must have equal right to life (thus health care, if provided), by UN treaty.
Conclusion: The Obama Health Care Plan violates international law, which Obama, Pelosi, "liberals" et al, must obey, since the US is signatory to this law.
If (or perhaps when) HR3200 is law, we can sue Mr Obama, Speaker Pelosi and the rest of their creep-crowd in The Hague. I'm up for it. Let's demand trillions and trillions taken out of their hides.
Universal Declaration of Human Rights link.
Howard Dean came out Monday, saying government run health care was indispensable.
"You can't really do health reform without [government control]," he said. Dean maintained that the health insurance industry has "put enormous pressure on patients and doctors" in recent years.
He called a direct government role "the entirety of health care reform. It isn't the entirety of insurance reform ... We shouldn't spend $60 billion a year subsidizing the insurance industry."
Dean, who wishes to grease all his buddies' palms, finds public option indispensable. Indispensable to him. Terrible for us.
Tuesday, Leftist "liberal" authoritarians whine they are making all the concessions. "The slaves are insisting they get to keep all their fingers," whined one Leftist "Liberal" authoritarian. "Why should we have to let them keep anything? It's not fa-i-i-r."
Okay, I made up that part in italics. But this should be clear: These phony "Liberal" politicians are not servants of the people.
Central Planning Doesn't Work
Lets deal with big government economics on a purely intellectual level. Currently the stuff of big government is carbon taxes, stimuli packages, and centralized medical care.
~~~~~~~~

Why can't an economy be planned by well-meaning federal power? Wouldn't it be possible to assemble the best and brightest minds? Get them who really understand an economy to make things go. Then we can really stimulate the economy from a central plan. Why doesn't that work?

Getting good information is a problem.

Central planning requires excellent theory and excellent information to be successful. Therein lies the rub. The guys doing the planning don't have good information, so the answers they get are always wrong. Policy fails.

So gather better information! Lets get rid of privacy! Still not good enough. By the time the information is gathered, collated and made into a sensible picture, the picture has changed. The target moved.

Central planning will always suffer from poor information. A brilliant theory with garbage information gives garbage answers.

What is frustrating to central-planning bugs is poor theory, even bad theory, if applied at the lowest local level, has superior, up-to-date information and will give superior results. Nothing is more local than the individual. The atomistic practice of free enterprise results in better economic justice for the people.

~~~~~~~~
Mr Obama and the Democreeps seem too stuck up to get out of the way. We are in for a long period of malaise. Big government itself is the problem. As long as this government continues to try to centralize economic power in Washington DC, this economy will wobble on.
Revolutionary state
American used to be a revolutionary state. What was truly revolutionary about the country was that people were supposed to tend to their own lives. The logical assumption is that the people living their lives were the ones who best understood their own problems and opportunities. The people, left unmolested, the would come up with the best, long term solution.
Now everyone is voting on matters they don't know about. Law is made in ignorance. We have perfected democracy, only to find it has the flaws of too much interference with the people's lives.
We have become the 'party' state. This party is never supposed to end. Let's all abuse ourselves and make someone else (the "rich") pay. Someone else can always pay the bills. Let's party. Reality can take a leap.
~~~~~~~~

People ought to be left alone to tend to their own business. They caused no harm to their neighbors.

Now we have a more ancient form of government. Everyone is called to make plans in accordance with the Master Plan of government. To get even basic health care, under this "new" old system Everyone is numbered and registered. After all, what is the social security number for, if not to track the individual from cradle to grave.

You're only a number. All hail the bludgeon of government.

~~~~~~~~
Listen up
Marx' "from each according to his ability; to each according to his needs... ."
That "from each according to his ability" has always given me the chills. Who determines my abilities in the Workers' Paradise? Some slothful government maggots? Eliminate the maggots first.
Then we can take what we need. Freedom. (I must save my energy for my execution by The One.)
My clever impression is the Socialist Mind Molding Institutes (school system) has done a thorough job of conditioning about half the minds out there to an Ant Farm style of thinking. Individualism is nothing other than a historic curiosity.
Uni-mind, because the person is unimportant; only the symbol matters. Life/death, the same. Only the elite are significant.
Letdown.
The fascists/Marxist/moonbats are all about special rights for minorities. Who's the smallest minority of all? The individual.
Yeah. We've been let down.
~~~~~~~~

Its time to revolve. America must return to what it once was, smaller, more agile, more revolutionary government, trying to solve only the problems which can be solved, with freedom and justice for all.
