Today, President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden (Ed.D.), attended Mass at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle before his inauguration today.(USA Today)
Later, Mr Biden was administered the Oath of Office. The oath is found in Article II of the Constitution. It contains 35 words and goes as follows:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Let us pray that Mr Biden is given wisdom from Almighty God to fulfill the obligations he has bound himself to today.
