Biden announced his “initial actions” in his attack on gun rights. He also announced ther Second Amendment is not absolute and it is not his intended target anyway.... (Yahoo News):
- The Justice Department, within 60 days, will publish model “red flag” legislation for states. Red Flag legislation is a system for denying firearms rights based on unproved claims about a person's mental health.
- The Justice Department, within 30 days, will issue a proposed rule to help stop the proliferation of “ghost guns.” Ghost guns are pieces of metal that a competent metalworker can make into a firearm.
- The Justice Department, within 60 days, will issue a proposed rule to make clear when a device marketed as a stabilizing brace effectively turns a pistol into a short-barreled rifle subject to the requirements of the National Firearms Act.
“Subject to the requirements of the National Firearms Act” means that gun owners will be forced to pay a $200 tax stamp on those firearms (or surrender them to the authorities). This is Biden's way to tax the people who are serious Second Amendment advocates -- and didn't vote for Biden and his cronies.
