We live in a world of polarities -- there is room for compromise. But the Democratic Party calls it compromise when the other side completely loses.
The Wisconsin Senate plans to de-fang the public employees union by reducing the planned increases in public employees pay, and removing the right of public workers to strike.
The Democrats have other plans. They had trapped the people of Wisconsin. The Democrats wanted the people to pay massive tax hikes so the Democrats can claim they are 'giving' their public union buddies free stuff. And they want to fool the people into thinking the Democrats are not shielding their own rich.
The Party protesters insist they rally only to keep workers rights, not for higher pay. This is intentional deception. Part and parcel of collective bargaining rights is the right to strike for higher pay, more medical, child care, or whatever. If the Wisconsin public employees unions keep their right to strike, they will strike for these things.
Lets use the smell test: In Wisconsin, people can use the initiative petition to make law. If there is real backing for the Public Unions and the Democratic Party demands, they can do an initiative and force the Senate to increase pay.
But the people of Wisconsin would vote against that, so The unions and Democrats stage sleep-ins in the rotunda and get their Party controlled press to bark for them.

Congress Loots Another Trillion.
Its reminiscent of looters when they realize the jig is up, and they have only a little more time to finish stealing. This is criminal behavior. Alas, it is too frequent in the Congress of the United States.
Another trillion dollars in debt. Merry Christmas America. Your "Democratic" Party controlled Congress is doing its worst to sell your future. Congress has added another trillion dollar, stupid spending bill to their lengthy gravy train. More than 6500 earmarks are in this one, amounting to over $48 billion in pork. Its all payoff for special interests who helped elect these squealing frauds. "$247,000 for virus-free grapes in Washington State." Sakes!
It is criminal behavior. Porking on this level is adding to the crippling effect this Congress has had for the last four years they have made the law of the land. Added to all their reckless spending and stupid regulation, it'll be a wonder if we don't hang them for treason.

Obama Blames the Other Guys
Mr Obama is yelping the GOP is in the way when it comes to economic recovery.
Charles Babington of the AP reports President Obama told Iowa voters Wednesday that the GOP has been dishonest about what needs to be done to revive the economy and restore middle-class dreams. The AP report
Mr Obama complained the Republican Party has obstructed the recovery with dishonesty, and the GOP talked down the "Democratic" Party's plan to micromanage everyone's lives.
Reality is different.
Mr Obama's hyperventilation over Republican remarks about the administration's new taxes and procedures is stupid. But Mr Obama seems genuinely indignant that people resent his attempt to take control of their private lives.
The ObamaCare tax (& the ObamaCare non-compliance fine of $750), the expiration of the Bush tax cuts, expanded 1099 reporting (at a cost greater than the projected revenues!), and new taxes on everything from pressurized suntans to investment funds ---- are going to be crippling.
Outside the Western world governments have been more responsible. Most have avoided deficit-dependent spending. Wild government purchasing tends to redirect resources away from productive uses, and so postpones recovery. Worldwide, the recovery is well underway. For example, stingy Singapore experienced 16% annualized growth in the first half of this year.

Democratic Party versus....
Democratic Party versus the truth?
Some people, mostly the stupid, or uninformed, or Democrats, think the President makes law. The President makes suggestions, but Congress makes the law of the land, which the President then signs. When George W Bush was President, it was the Republicans in Congress who made us prosper.
Democratic Party members insist George Bush's policies failed. If so, the timing is interesting, because it wasn't until after the Democratic Party took full control of Congress the economy began to wobble. When the Democratic Party took control of the Presidency too the nation's economy collapsed.
The stock market crashed and partly recovered (2 year view).
The dollar dropped 35% against the Yen (2 year view).
And unemployment nearly doubled to 9.5% (Ten year view).
The Democratic Party must believe George Bush has spooky influence now that he is out of office for more than a year and a half.
Clearly the policies of the Democratic Party have failed. And no wonder. Their policies are based on the notion that central planning works. If that were so, the militaristic Soviet Union would still be around. Central planning requires force.
The economy is failing, but not because of the people or the ghost from a past administration. Capitalism did not fail --- freedom is under attack. The Democratic Party is attacking the American way of life. They are doing this out of pure partisan greed. We must stop them any way possible.

Military Front
Mr Obama, mired in the classic leftist fantasy, canceled the US' F-22 purchase last year. We have no advanced aircraft in development.
The rest of the world is not so stupid. Russia and India flew the Perspektivnyi Aviatsionnyi Kompleks Frontovoi Aviatsyi T-50 / Project 701 / PAK FA in January this year. The Chinese are widely rumored to be developing a stealthy fighter, the Jianjiji-X. Soon the United States, the most generous nation in the world, will lose the clout to help the world maintain peace.
Instead, we'll be sucking around with old weapons, sending our men into harm's way so they can be slaughtered. Which is like what Mr Obama is doing to parliamentary procedure, health care, and the American Constitution.

If the Republicans can relieve the Democrazies this November, they must establish they are truly conservative and not merely the light version of the stupid vileness Mr Obama is. They must find ways to undo the evil Mr Obama has done. So first, they should cancel all uncompleted contracts and impound all unexpended funds.
Second: Reduce the federal payroll. We already have too many bureaucrats ruining our private lives. The government should get out of the micro-management business. If the Republicans dominate the new congress, they should simply refuse to appropriate enough money to continue paying all the drudges. Count on the communist controlled press to scream nonsense like the impact of this is going to fall unfairly on women and the poor.
Finally, the Republicans ought to investigate who got the extraordinary trillions in the Obama budget: Who are the new guys? Are they possible money laundries used to stuff Demo-buddies pockets? First Suspicion: Did SEIU get any "little extras" directly from government coffers? They have been very supportive of government takeovers. There are other new guys like the Employee Benefits Research Institute. I don't know if those guys have done anything, but EBRI seem odd to me, and they are in WA DC. What are other new guys doing?
The possibilities for breathtaking fraud in the Obama administration are legendary. Repairs are going to take years. Our work is cut out for us.

Health care takeover and the big picture
Call me paranoid, but I think we're in even more trouble.
What if Pelosi's apparent difficulty raising enough votes to enact health care takeover is a put on? What if Republican House leader John Boehner is being played when he confidently predicts ObamaKare will be defeated. What if this is a set up?
After all, what would make the Republicans look more like buffoons than for them to dramatically underestimate the corruption in the Obama Administration. I don't.
Its clear Mr Obama is a crook, shiftier than Mr Nixon (who at least had good vision), more racist than Mr Jackson (who founded the Democratic Party). Mr Obama is the worst we've ever had.
The US may even lose its AAA debt rating because of Mr Obama's avarice and greed. Mr Obama is willing to spend your future to line his buddies pockets. Where else is the $3 trillion debt spent on our behalf? You'd expect to see some result.
Given all this, the Republicans will look pretty irrelevant if they misread the Demos determination to control access to health care.

It Was Inevitable
Washington DC staged a health care march. "Thousands" showed up to march in favor of government controlled health care access. They chanted mottoes such as "The market is the problem, government regulation is the answer." All the Democrats could hire was thousands. (Contrast that to the 1.5 million at the TEA Party events in WaDC.)The Democratic Underground promoted the "peoples march." The government captive website, Labor Notes, posted the following.

"As health insurance lobbyists holed up in the Ritz-Carlton behind dozens of police in riot gear, thousands of health care activists surrounded the downtown D.C. hotel in a peaceful but pointed demonstration of anger and support for health care reform.
"The entire crowd was "deputized" to make citizen's arrests of insurance lobbyists for blocking health care reform.
"'When insurance companies come together to stop health care reform, that's a crime," said AFL-CIO President Rich Trumka as the crowd roared. "Congress should, Congress must, and Congress will listen to the people.'"
Washington State Senator, Patty Murray, scored by staging a meeting with an 11 year old boy who told a tale of woe about his mother's tragic death. Perhaps the boy's tale is true, and the boy deserves our pity, but not control of our health care.
Actually, it was Nancy Cordes, of the entirely free thinking and totally independent media outlet CBS, who found the child "from Seattle.” Anyway, Murray was happy with the fresh blood to wallow in. She re-told the tale to the Senate, the press corps and anyone else who could be forced to listen.
Murray had all the pathetic details lined up. A child, a mother, government health care.... Senator Murray is up for re-election this autumn and her poll numbers are poor. This event was tailor made for a display of phoniness and fraudulent concern. I'm convinced --- government restricted health care is the Way To Go, Senator Murray.
How much cheap stagecraft will we get?

"AP - The end game at hand, President Barack Obama took command Wednesday of one final attempt by Democrats to enact bitterly contested health care legislation, calling for an "up or down vote" within weeks under rules denying Republicans the ability to kill the bill with mere talk." AP Story
Mr Obama fielded a "new" old version of the Federalized Health Care Access Restrictions, aka ObamaCare. As everyone suspected, its just the old crap warmed over. No change, and far more arm twisting pressure.
The first "benefit" of ObamaCare is going to be an average tax increase of approximately of $3,800 per person (the 5.4 percent tax on modified adjusted gross income above $500,000 for individuals and $1 million for couples ain't gonna be enough). This is the only benefit from ObamaCare for the three years. No health care is paid out of the collected tax until 2013. This is what Mr Obama meant when he said repeatedly that a health care overhaul "will be paid for” and that he won’t sign a bill that isn’t deficit-neutral.
Tax first, waste it, never pay.
If the federal government proceeds along the usual trajectory, all monies paid into the account will be spent on other projects (lining their pockets) long before 2013. There is no organization on earth better suited to screwing up than the US government.
The Final Crud
Every day our lives are more closely supervised to "protect us." Everyday we lose more and more freedom and independence. In this light, Mr Obama is only the latest in the line of frauds who say they will give something to us when they take more away.
If you want the right to arrange your own health care, forget it. The government has taken control. If you want the right to support yourself in your retirement and old age, forget it. The government has taken over. Do you want to hang onto any independence at all? Forget it.
I can't believe people voted for him.

Social Security Solvency
Social security is projected to remain solvent through 2034 before a solvency crisis strikes. That is nearly forever in political terms. But the truth may be much uglier. Due to the government's current spending habits, Social Security could become unusable as early as Autumn of 2010.
The current administration and Congress are borrowing to spend. The government deficit is projected to expand another 3 trillion dollars. There are three sources for federal solvency: Private purchases of treasury notes; Sales of t-notes to the Federal Reserve, creating "new money" and inflationary pressure; Sales of t-notes to Social Security Administration.
The Federal Reserve purchases have exceeded 55% of total t-notes sold in recent auctions. This suggests we up for inflation, which is a massive pain. This nasty fact helps explain why foreign governments are losing interest in US Treasuries. But it also means the t-notes assets purchased by Social Security won't go as far when they are paid off. The future pay back of the t-note will have less purchasing power than the money used to buy the t-note in the first place.
You should note these t-notes are used to supply cash to the Democreeps' apesnot spending, featherbedding their buddies. There is not much, if any, truly productive federal spending going on.
Solvency for required federal spending, like the military and postal service, both constitutionally mandated, will drain future tax collection. Social programs must be reduced. It is reasonable to speculate some bills may not get repaid, like Social Security owned t-notes.
Social Security's apparent solvency may be an illusion. The Democreeps have spent like such a cloud of drunken fools, we may have a giant credit card bill years in the re-paying.
If the disaster strikes as early as Autumn of 2010, seniors will be screaming in genuine pain. Will they blame the elected people who actually caused their hurt? Or will they demand soft words?
Repelicans have always been artless when it comes to soft words. There is no easy way to tell someone they can't be helped. Democreeps will lie, then not help, then insist someone else caused the problem. It helps that the Democratic Party owns most of the popular press in the US.
The Hard Road
But the Republican Party must take the hard road for all of us. The coming party platform must include elements like, 1. All contracts not already let under Obamunism are canceled; and 2. all contracts let but no started are canceled with only a 10% cancellation allowance; 3. All other unexpended funds are impounded. Imagine the screeching from the Left.
But we will need this sort of discipline to recover from the Democreep orgy of stupidity. Someone has to pay the bills.
In future let's not be stupid in who we vote for.

Latest in Global Warming
A reading of 350 parts per million carbon dioxide of free atmosphere is supposed to be the crossover point, beyond which the world ecosystem will collapse, and global warming will becomes irreversible.
The problem for the global warming religious crowd is the current global CO2 levels are at 390 parts per million and average global temperatures are falling. Apparently the panicked masses acting stupid in the streets are panicked masses acting stupid.
Most fun is they will not admit they are wrong. Yes, Mr Obama, lets base national policy on this stupidity. Its stylish, and it will harm millions and millions of Americans. Al Gore is behind it, and so is Mr Obama. They will get riches and power from a brown-nosing, political "high society," lost in toadyism.
On the other hand, we get scraps. And high taxes, and new prohibitions, and higher taxes. And even higher taxes. All of this oppression is based on the non-sense global warming religion objectives.
The Associated Press published a story (Click here) revealing these significant details, but the AP predictably went on the wring its hands that action was still needed, even thought the problem isn't as bad as thought.
The theory is faulty. The problem doesn't exist. Look to the solar cycle for your genuine cause of warming and cooling. Climate has changed on this planet since long before mankind was here. That fact alone disqualifies current anthopogenic global warming theories.

The problem for the global warming religious crowd is the current global CO2 levels are at 390 parts per million and average global temperatures are falling. Apparently the panicked masses acting stupid in the streets are panicked masses acting stupid.
Most fun is they will not admit they are wrong. Yes, Mr Obama, lets base national policy on this stupidity. Its stylish, and it will harm millions and millions of Americans. Al Gore is behind it, and so is Mr Obama. They will get riches and power from a brown-nosing, political "high society," lost in toadyism.
On the other hand, we get scraps. And high taxes, and new prohibitions, and higher taxes. And even higher taxes. All of this oppression is based on the non-sense global warming religion objectives.
The Associated Press published a story (Click here) revealing these significant details, but the AP predictably went on the wring its hands that action was still needed, even thought the problem isn't as bad as thought.
The theory is faulty. The problem doesn't exist. Look to the solar cycle for your genuine cause of warming and cooling. Climate has changed on this planet since long before mankind was here. That fact alone disqualifies current anthopogenic global warming theories.

The Obama administration commits itself to further rebellion against lawful American government and the US Constitution. The Constitution does not allow government to bail out domestic companies. Next, there is no provision for controlling those private companies without providing adequate compensation to the private citizens whose property has been seized.
Mr Obama must be impeached on these charges: Violation of Amendment 10, the specific limitation of power; and the fact, taking of private property is found to be a violation of Amendment 4. Lets hope he and his cadre of evil Senators and Representatives are convicted and imprisoned soon.
These are outlaw times.

What's wrong with big government?
No doubt the people in Washington DC really care about their plans and policies success; their re-election depends on it. The only thing I have riding on their success is my livelihood. But I doubt the effectiveness of remote control administration. These politicians are good at politics, not other occupations.
I doubt big government plans will work. Big means distant. Someone in Washington will not see as clearly as someone right on top of the problem can see. The car makers, for example, know car making. Besides, the people in Washington are politicians. They can't even sell cars, much less make them.
Banking is another example. Washington people only know how to borrow huge sums of money and spend it in the politically correct ways policy dictates. They are clueless about the rest of banking.
Heaven help you if the Washington politicians ever try to dictate your personal life. Bad law wipes out good behavior.

Please pardon the hysterical tone of this addendum. I'm watching the newly elected government take apart the free system and am slightly panicked by it.
People don't get it. The Leftist controlled indoctrination centers (Mind Molding Mills, i.e. public schools) have been thorough. Only conservative economics has given human beings plenty, but the people are now convinced only socialist destruction of the economy is fair.
First, in November 2007, the Leftist government changes the accounting rules with mark to market, severely damaging private banking and financing systems. This year, the people elect a socialist idiot who has zero real word experience. Obama's job before politics: community organizer. This doesn't even sound like a job. It sounds like he was a paid rabble rouser.
The stock market is still taking a beating, because no investor wants to be on that front line when Big Brother strikes. Now we are told the only problem with our economy is we have too much freedom left. We are told Big Government reserves investment, innovation and compassion to itself.
Government doesn't invest for productive return. They invest for re-election: Waste! The governments idea of innovation is building windmills (Sen. Maria Cantwell): an idea at least 2000 years old.
These elitists snort at compassion. For example, Big government has been in the food control business for years via food stamps. For the poor, government bureaucrats decide who eats and who does not.
Take it a another step. When the government holds farmers to non-production requirements, idling good farm land. When the inexperienced clods in this government makes a mistake and short food production way too much. Every socialist nation has had mass starvation. What will the elitists say when this socialist workers paradise has mass starvation? Oops? Will they care at all?
The fascist Left has declared war on the common man.

Repression always relies on a more powerful government.
Less power for government needs a political philosophy of ordered liberty by social manner, not political power and order imposed from the top down by government.
If society is motivated by the basic and common virtues, then the outcome is freedom and a well ordered society. If society is ordered by power alone, then the result is violence and oppression.
